Comparative analysis of the PLAR(1-8) data.
Introduction:
This study aims to investigate the potential of using online learning portfolios and final university exam videos to predict the outcome of students' results. With the increasing use of digital technologies in education, online learning portfolios have become a popular tool for students to showcase their work and reflect on their learning experiences. Meanwhile, final university exam videos provide a comprehensive assessment of students' knowledge and skills in a particular subject. By analyzing these two sources of data, this study seeks to explore the relationship between students' performance in online learning portfolios and final university exams, and to evaluate the predictive power of these data sources for students' academic outcomes. The findings of this study may have important implications for improving student learning and assessment practices in medical education.

PLAR 2 and PLAR 7 were found to have the most variation, upon interviewing them and trying to find out the reason for the same, this is the brief explanation available:
PLAR 2: "Since most of the assessors already knew the students, they may have formed biased a prior opinion. OTOH the external assessors like me had to rely mostly on the videos, which were not audible enough and the portfolios were often copied from the others."
PLAR 7: "Observer bias has occurred as the video showcased the students to be immensely conscious and not be judged accurately according to their true ability , most of the blogs depicted only the final short and long cases , there wasn’t much variation in the case history and all clinical images were included , some blogs were incomplete leading to the failed result , whereas there were some excellently written case histories which were passed or aced , depending upon their viva answers as well the result was influenced."
